A Private Chef for The Weekend? / At our nearby restaurant Pythouse Kitchen Garden, we specialise in delicious homegrown food and our chefs love to come with all the ingredients to prepare and style you a magical feast in the wild.



When the sun goes down and you've got the gin and tonics flowing, we'll be busy behind the scenes setting up the most amazing feast. When you're ready to eat we will unveil the dining area, featuring a sumptuously laid banqueting table covered in candles and wildflowers, and all set to the sound of wood fires crackling and owls hooting in the trees.

One of the most popular ideas for a fun and delicious supper is to light the wood-fired oven and to practise the traditional art of pizza making in the outdoors. We can deliver seriously good ingredients straight from the restaurant so that all you need to do is roll out the dough, design your perfect pizzas using the supplied ingredients and get cooking.

We’ve designed a cook’s paradise at Elcombe Copse, meaning you can do all your own cooking using a fantastic range of kit, from drum barbecues to wood-fired ovens and gas hobs, we’ve got it all covered.


I wanted to say a huge thanks to you and the gang for all your help this weekend. I had such a fantastic time and really enjoyed staying at Elcombe – it really is a wonderful place. The food was all delicious and I will not forget any of this weekend in a hurry. I hope to come again in the future.
