DINING AT ELCOMBE
Elcombe Copse is situated on a farm in the Chalke Valley, where local farmers and growers produce a wide range of superb food and drink. There are plenty of farm shops and delis in the area so the options at Elcombe are mouth-wateringly good. Our sister restaurant, Pythouse Kitchen Garden (PKG) also supplies us with seasonal home grown produce and we use this on our Elcombe menus wherever possible.
If you'd like to do your own cooking, we have all the equipment you'll need for cooking and barbecuing for large numbers. Cooking for a large group can be hard work so, if you like the sound of taking it easy, we can take the burden off and lay on anything from a simple picnic to huge candlelit banquets under the stars.
When the sun goes down and you've got the gin and tonics flowing, we'll be busy behind the scenes setting up the most amazing feast. When you're ready to eat we will unveil the dining area, featuring a sumptuously laid banqueting table covered in candles and wildflowers, and all set to the sound of wood fires crackling and owls hooting in the trees.

We've got cooking on a fire pit or barbecue down to a fine art. We can cater for huge barbecue parties for lunch or supper, and together we can design a menu that will blow your guests minds.

One of the most popular ideas for a fun and delicious lunch or supper is the wood-fired pizza oven. We can make seriously good pizzas for large groups in an informal setting and we can even give pizza making masterclasses if you want to get stuck in yourself. If you have a favourite topping or toppings, we'll keep them coming until you cant eat any more.
We'll bring a selection of the following basic ingredients with us and make pizzas to order. Please let us know if you have any special dietary or ingredient requests.

Vintage Tea Parties
Our vintage tea parties are epic. We'll serve you at the table with a variety of sandwiches, scones, jam and clotted cream, cup cakes decorated with handmade flowers, baby fruit tarts, slices of delicious cake, homemade pink lemonade, teas and prosecco. The table will be set with vintage china cups and saucers, champagne coups and napkins, silver teapots, art deco glass jugs for lemonade... the list goes on!

Our fully equipped kitchen has two gas hobs, a butlers sink with hot water on demand, pots, pans and utensils of all shapes and sizes, barbecuing kit and everything from cafetieres to marshmallow skewers. We also provide the basics such as tea, ground coffee and salt and pepper. We recommend you don't bring anything with you as we really do have it all!
